MANILA - Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Saturday called President Rodrigo Duterte's order to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) as a mere 'political bluff.'

Trillanes added that it is not the responsibility of the AMLC to account the net worth of anybody. He reiterated his challenge to the president to sign a waiver and release all transaction history of his bank accounts instead.

Buksan mo transaction history ng accounts mo at magkaalaman na,” he said. Duterte on Friday directed the AMLC to disclose information on his net worth following Trillanes' "rehashed" accusations that bank accounts of the president and his children had about P2 billion from 2006-2015.
